Accessibility

No accessibility audit has been carried out on this portal.

This statement therefore claims no conformance with any standard — not WCAG at any level, not EN 301 549, not any other. Nobody has tested this application against one, so saying it conformed would be an assertion rather than a finding.

What is actually there today

These exist in the code and you can use them right now. None of them is a substitute for an audit.

  • Light and dark colour schemes, in Settings → Appearance. Your choice is remembered by your browser and applied before the page paints, so it does not flash the other theme on load.
  • A comfortable and a compact display density, in the same place. Compact tightens spacing and type; comfortable is the default.
  • English and German interface languages, in Settings.
  • Text on most screens can be enlarged by your browser — the interface is sized in relative units rather than fixed pixels, which is what makes the density switch work at all.
  • Signing does not require drawing with a mouse or a finger — the signature step offers a type-your-name alternative to the drawing pad.
  • The interface is built on the Siemens iX design system, which has its own accessibility work behind it. That is a fact about the components this portal uses, not a test result about this portal.

Known gaps

This list is what is known, not what exists. Since no audit has been done, there are almost certainly barriers nobody has found yet — which is exactly why the section below matters more than this one.

  • There is no skip-to-content link. Anyone navigating by keyboard or screen reader passes through the navigation on every page.
  • The data tables and charts have not been tested with a screen reader. The admin screens lean heavily on both.
  • The exported PDFs are not tagged for assistive technology.
  • Colour contrast has not been measured in either theme.

Telling us about a barrier

If something in this portal stops you from doing what you came to do, please say so. A report is the only way an untested application finds out where it fails.

  • If you can sign in: open the account menu in the top right and choose Report a problem. Say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. It goes straight to the people who maintain the portal.
  • If you cannot sign in: contact your program administrator — the person who invited you to the program, or your mentor or manager.

This page does not promise a response time, and it does not name an enforcement or complaints procedure, because neither has been set up. Saying otherwise would be inventing a commitment that nobody has made.
